Preschool Teacher

Disabilities Coordinator

The Disability Coordinator assumes overall responsibility for the planning, administration, implementation, and evaluation of the disabilities service area of the
HRDC, Early Education Program including arranging for delivery of special services for children with disabilities in cooperation with the Education Services team, while meeting federal and state performance standards and regulations. This position is also responsible, though coordinated approaches and effective partnerships with Local Education Agencies and private providers, for promoting access, participation and individualization within an inclusive environment to support children’s positive school readiness outcomes. This position works with other support staff in grant application requirements and compliance. Performs additional duties as assigned. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or higher with an emphasis in Special Education, Disabilities, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field which includes the 24 credit core in Early Childhood Education is required. Master’s degree in above areas is preferred. Co-Director
